In his latest work Marijan F. Kranjc revises a series of articles on the military industry in the Yugoslav People’s Army (YPA). The articles have attracted numerous visitors since their on-line publication at Vojaštvo – Military in early 2014.
The book presents the YPA’s technical and technological achievements in the period between 1945 and 1991. It includes the following topics: the reality of Yugoslavia’s nuclear bomb, a presentation of several anti-nuclear underground shelters, including “Tito’s nuclear bunkers”, the issues of the “Eagle” supersonic plane and the M-84 tank, midget submarines and naval mines. Furthermore, it discusses the issues of chemical and biological weapons, and IT topics. The last part presents numerous unimplemented plans and projects devised by the YPA military industry. (SOK).
